Here are folks walking the North Lake Whatcom trail, a former rail line at the base of Stewart mountain that runs for about 3 miles along the lake shore. Easy walk (or run) with grand views.
There are many small streams flowing off of the south facing flank of Stewart Mountain. This one seemed special to me, perhaps due to the lush vegetation growing along the edge. I love trying to capture the motion of water, especially in small streams like this.
